Dear Jacinda Ardern, 

Hello I am Alan and I'm ten years old. Have you ever thought of getting your birthday as a public holiday?... Because I have. 

Did you know that we have one of the least public holidays in the world? 

These are some public holidays you could add, 

thanksgiving, halloween, your birthday, chinese new year, white sunday and veterans day etc. 

Maybe create some of your own. eg Sports day. 

There are around 180 days of school in a year. Personaly I think that that is too many and just one day could make my life and many others much easier. 

Take a moment to realize what this could mean for us kids.

day 3 summer learning journey

hi bloggers, today I will be blogging about 3 super powers I could have if I was a superhero for a day. my first power would be able to fly, I think that being able to fly will just be a good super power. if I could fly I could go to anywhere in the world for free and imagine flying up in the sky with a view up in the clouds. my next super power would be super speed. If I had super speed I would be able to not only run very fast but fly very fast. the last super power I will have shape shifting, If you are not familiar with this power this means that you can turn into anything so I can disguise as anyone I want at anytime I want.

hi bloggers,  I decided to choose a charatie and the charatie I picked was the salvation army. what they do is sell things that people donate and 83% of the companys profits go to program services like the YMCA. the rest of the money goes to programs that they hold like, fundraising, sausage sizzle, cake stands, etc. the best thing for me is that one salvation army is just down the road from my house.

litter blitz

Hi bloggers, as you can tell this blog post is about litter blitz. If you don't know already its a day when the whole school goes outside school grounds to pick up rubbish all the rubbish will be weighed and figure out which group got the most rubbish. There were golden tickets along the way and if we found one the people that made the event will give those people a prize. Sadly the ticket wasn't even in our path, and another class found it. In the end I think we got around 200 kg's of rubbish. At the end of picking up all that rubbish we got a free sausage that go delivered to our class. The end

cultural groups

hey bloggers, as you can tell this post is about cultural fest. this year I was in the Samoan group. btw cultural group is when you pick a culture and do a dance in the culture that you picked. the culture groups, were Tongan, Samoan(the group I was in),  Niue, Scottish, African, cook island, etc.
the boys in the Samoan group had to take off their shirts which I don't like doing and put on lava lava's. we put oil on our skin then they put our necklace's on. in 30 minute's ish we peformed. after the peformance my mum gave me some money to spend at the takeaway across the road. in like ten minutes we left and we got carls jr for dinner. the end

sup blogger, this is part 3 of the green week writing.

A new beginning

The years past and I think I was in 2245. Eggs lay on the soft sand and little turtle
heads poked out of their shells. One shimmied itself to the ocean and swam far
deep into the sea. Birds glared at the turtles as they crepes up on the small waves.
I just realized that there were no people. The shops all looked abandoned. I guess
that humans left to mars or just no-one lives in this tiny city. I picked up an egg
and it cracked open. Its epic journey was only the beginning.

Day 2 the time traveler

I saw a giant mouth open and when the whale? Ate me I blacked out. When I woke up I was in an old cottage and I wedged myself out of bed frantically yabed my stuff and gaped to from the house turns out this isn't even my bag and It had a bunch of clocks inside I tried to run back to the house but the house had gone from where it once had been, the rain poured down on me and my fur clothes started to sog, wait!! I was wearing fur clothes. looked at one of the watches and I had a beard a grey one. I hoped in the biggest clock like in one of those movies and waited. When I opened the door the best thing in the world happened. The clock was the key to everything; the key to moving through time and space.

the deep green week writing part 1

The deep

 I was in the deep dark water looking for rubbish since I did 1 thing wrong in my math test, 1!! The worst part was that I didn’t get paid for this, it was all volentre. That's when I saw a small movment then I thought rubbish so I swam towards it and turns out that this chunk of rubbish was big,not just big but huge. The closer I got, the more the image faded. I was frantically raging at but with a blink of an eye, it was gone as I layed in the middle of the ocean puffed. My back started vibrating only to realize that there was bubbles rizing from the water. Something was lurking beneath him, and a shadow like figure was beneath  me

best day of the holidays

sup bloggers, welcome back to my blog. this blogs going to be about the best day from the holidays. enjoy

In the morning my brother, my mum and I hoped in the car to go to tai's basketball training. When I got there I saw Tai, Anjola and Jiraya. the four of us played in the gym for about 4-5 hours then we finally left but she realised that there were six people and only 5 seats so two of us sat on the same seat as we drove to Tai's house. When we got there Tai turned on his PS4 and we played call of duty. All of a sudden Tai's mum asked us what kind of pizza we liked I said any, Tai said ham, Anjola said pepperoni, Jiraya said any. 30 mins later the pizza arived and we ate dinner. We ate all the pizza in about 10 minutes. the four of us made some storys on the spot using a light before going to sleep. I woke up at about 5am. then at 8am my mum came to pick me up. the end

Hi everyone, its me alan again. this term is nearly over and I have a lot  of things that I'm going to do I'll post about what I did in the holidays after this holiday. the bad thing is its only two weeks...+the weekends so thats 16 days of no school. I'm going to enjoy my holiday so I hope you enjoy yours

Tenzing: "Yea it is!"

Few seconds later......
Sir Edmund Hillary: "YES!!!! WE MADE IT TENZING! WE ARE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO CLIMB MOUNT EVEREST TO THE TOP!!!!!!!"
Tenzing: "YES!!!!! Edmund put down your flag so if somebody climbs up here, they would know somebody already have bee to the top!"

So Hillary and Tenzing put down a flag and stayed there for a while and then they went down. When they came down everybody was there and was happy. They celebrated and went back to there place. Edmund used his money for good things.
Edmund: "I'm gonna use my money to buy schools and hospitals for the people that need them."
Tenzing: t"hats nice Edmund."
After Sir Edmund climbed Mount Everest, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth the Second. Then he was called Sir Edmund Hillary.
Sir Edmund became a everyday heroes for using his money from climbing Mount Everest to buy schools and hospitals.

the holidays part 1

this blog  post is about my holidays, hope you enjoy.
The first day of the holidays were amazing. It felt like heaven. this  was going to be the best holiday ever. my family and I were going to japan!!! the worst part was the flight, it took 3 hours to go to astrailia and 14 hours to go to japan when we got there we walked around trying to get to know the place. there were vending machines everywhere and everything was so cheap. after a long walk of the city my grandma came to pick us up. her house was masive it had two storys a balconey and a garden.

Sup bloggers, today we had film festival. It was amazing. we traveled by a  bus. and as soon as we got there we sat and waited for the people got ready for the films. the room looked like the place where indiana jones was made. after about 5 minutes, the films started. I'm not going to tell you all of then because there is 15 of then so my favourates were kuap it was a film about a group of tadpoles. most of the tadpoles got legs hand and ended up being frogs but one didn't grow. it tryed and tryed but it didn't grow. at the end the tadpole grew legs and hands and became a frog. my second favurite one was best laid plans it was about being triggerd ;)

on the 1st of july me and some of my freinds went to helensvile to do a mud run even though it was mostly poo. we ran next to each other and the best part is at the end we got a bottle of loaded, a pizza voucher and  a medal.

Garden to Table
sup, this week we had garden to table and I was in the garden, we dug up mulch to make a new garden bed. The kitchen people were cooking us all some lunch. they cooked rice, sesame oil salad and some kind of curry. we  had this banana stuff for desert.

the weekends

this weekend, my family and I went to a coffee decorating contest. we got a bunch of free flavoured milk. I was so shocked by the decorations that people made with nothing but milk and half a cup of coffee. I'll try find an image of it to post.  this is a example of the things that I saw at the contest.

Sup, this term we have been learning about pop art. my class and I made our own pop art by taking a photo and drawing over it in vivid then the teacher photo copied the image on an A4 piece of paper with four pictures of yourself in it. Then she photo copied the image with four of you in it to a bigger piece of paper now all of us are going to couloer the four images

the holidays

Sup, today I'm telling you about my holidays!! As you know on the tittle. Well here it goes. In the holidays I went to the movies and watched shazam. It was really funny and the best part is strait after we went to the arcade with 50$ each and we got almost nothing. the truth is the arcade is a scam so don't waste your money. the next day we went to the mall. BTW my whole family got 50$ gift cards to westfield for christmas from our neighbours and we spent almost all of it in ten minutes. If you want to know how to spend a lot of money just buy a lot of the same thing. So I just brought 10 frappes from star bucks . hope you all enjoyed your holidays as much I did.

Battleships

Sup and welcome to my blog .This week Mr D made us do battleships using coordinates. The image shown above is a bunch of instructions of how to play. Right next to it is how I placed my ships. I won!! I played against Tai and I won I sunk one ship that had 4 block and he destroyed a 2 block ship. I really recommend playing  this game anytime, anywhere.

Sup. Today room 7 and I went swimming. But we learnt how to do cool stuff with life jackets.  The top image is for when you are in a group heading for a island and the bottom one is for when a person is injured or your first priority. I enjoyed this so much I would do it again in the freezing water or in the salt water.
