Rainbows end trip

 Hello Bloggers, Alan here. A few days ago all of Kauri team that had a leadership job went to Rainbows end. We went on 2 buses, one big bus and one mini bus. Our school wasn't the only school there, there were many schools there. M favourite ride was the stratosfear. What was your favourite ride?

I was here with a whale shark. I felt tiny and my pride

disappeared. Still, out of curiosity I swam towards it. Here I was glaring at huge fish or creature with nothing to protect me. The skin of the creature reflected light leading straight to my eyes. It seemed harmless. The unknown specimen sent shivers down my spine . The creature swallowed gallons of water by the second. I could feel the pull against my hands. Soon enough the creature left me reminding me how lonely I am in the deep, never ending ocean. No sign of civilization anywhere.

Kiwi kids news

Hello Bloggers, Alan here. I found this on Kiwi Kids News and I thought that it was interesting. It's about how the LA Lakers won the playoffs. Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about the lakers are a basketball team in the NBA. They won to the Miami heat. Lebron James scored a triple double and be also won his 4th NBA championship ring... I think. Are you happy that he Lakers won? I couldn't find a link sorry. Here is the link to the original article

Hello bloggers, Alan here. Today I found out that Steven Adams was traded to the New Orleans pelicans. I don't know who for but he got traded. If you don't know steven adams he is a basketball player who is a New Zealander. In the OKC he averaged 9.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists a game. Here is a link to the original article

 Hello bloggers, Alan here. yesterday The Kauri team had Kelly sports come to our school and do some fun games with us for 2 blocks. A quick thank you to Kelly sports for coming to our school to teach us, also thanks to Maria for arranging this. The first activity we did was relays. then I forgot the rest but here are some of the activity's we had. Dodgeball, tic tac toe, river jump(or river bank idk), scatterball, etc.

Water

 Hello Bloggers, For the past week or two Kauri team has been reading multiple articles about water and how we can save it. The articles were, World's water running out, Testing the waters, Down the drain and Will Cape town be the first town to run out of water. 

My favourite story was Down the drain. This story talks about putting traps in the drains so that trash can not flow into our waters. They said that one drain caught 1,340 pieces of water, What they also said was that 50% of that trash was cigarette butts. 

I did my research(aka searching on google) how much water can one cigarette butt pollute the answer was 8 litres that means that 5,360 litres of water could've gotten polluted. I don't think anyone is gonna read this anyway. haha.

 Three little pigs remix 

Once upon a time there lived three pigs and they lived with their mother in a huge mansion. One day the mother kicked them out and told them that if they ever came back she would call the homeless wolf to come and eat them. The little pigs accept defeat and clamber into their new houses in the city. The city was huge but they were broke and cant afford a flashy house to live in so they paid a person and rented a flat to stay in. The place was nice and roomy. One of the pigs did not like the room and left. He left to a place called”moms house” and he got eaten by the homeless wolf. The wolf enjoyed his meal and seaked more of this food. He left his cardboard box to go find more food. The pigs planned their great route to victory. But the wolf was still out looking and found the pigs. At this point the wolf was starving but the pigs said they were cannibals and said that vegans taste better. The pigs lead the wolf to the “mums house” and watched the wolf demolish their moms flesh. They left the wolf in the house to starve and they lived in the flat for life.

Dear Carla, 

I am very sad that you left, I was just angry and didn’t go to your office. I just felt sick inside
and your room gave me bad vibes, but I’m here now so please come back. I finally got
a gold star. Mrs Ebbel hung my book report  on the wall of the room. I got a new hair cut
at the barbers and it looks very bad. I look like I’m a walking old microphone. I kind of feel
depressed. Maybe we could catch up some time later. I hope you are doing fine. I’m friends
with Jeff again. I think your book is lucky. Anyway I think that you are friendly, kind and funny.
I still sit in the last seat, last row and most things are usual. I can play Basketball. My dad
taught me how to dribble a ball. Life is sweet. I just want you to come back to school. After
I finish the book I will probably read a different book and after that I will have another book
and so on. I didn’t want to hurt  you, I didn't mean to. I think I will go to Colleen's Birthday
now. I didn’t come to you on Friday or Saturday because I was angry.

I made a trail of potato chips that led into the chamber. Then I could pull the lever the other way. One part worked and the alien turned human but I couldn't get any of the virus. Maybe if I take the metal pipes that led to the ceiling and put a cup there so the virus will clog in the cup. I tried again and this time the alien turned human and the virus got jammed inside the cup. Bam I’m a genius. I decided instead of just taking down the “bad guy” I should just make it back home. So I did the trick a million more times (it felt like) and now everyone was human and all was left to do was go home.
But I already was.

I was in the dome, “dam” It was too easy to get out this was probably a way to get me in here. The licorish was probably drugged or something. Now I couldn’t move and a piece of tape was over my mouth preventing me from talking. I was done for, but then I saw them, my friends, they came for me. They were well hidden behind a clump of garbage. Something is up with the random alien things and metal and it's really bugging me.
One of the aliens pulled a lever and the glass dome shattered into small bits. I was shocked the tape had worn out a bit so I shaked it off and the cuffs came of when the glass shattered. I was once again outside the chamber and released into this world. Oh no I thought I lost a heart from the top key of my eye. I think this meant that I died once and have two left. I think I was turning into one. Now I have to find a way to Destroy this thing… I thought for days and finally I had a plan. My plan was to rebuild the dome and put one of the aliens inside instead and maybe just maybe I could take the virus kind of thing out of them and use that to go to another dimension. Another thing I thought I could do is reverse the dome so that the aliens became normal humans.

The hairs at the back of my neck stood up and goosebumps rose from my skin as I shivered in fear. One entered the store and did this laser thing to check if anyone was there. When the laser reached us I ran across to the other side of the laser so that when the robot checks the image I look like a small blair just a thin straight line I think it worked. The robot leaves and as I stand up the robot comes back with a whole gang of weird people, robots and aliens. One of the people winked at me and started speaking like robots do in anime. “D-I-E” he says. I think they were trying to act like robots. It's working but I must say putting a bunch of potato chip bags on yourself is not a good idea… but it's working. The guy comes up to me and puts me in licorish cuffs. I laugh a little.
They take me to what I think is their HQ. Why did they just take me and not my friends? The place is just a dome covered with shiny things and in the center is this big sphere ball made of glass and these metal wires coming out of it connecting to the roof. Soon I realized that it was  placed inside the thing. When the things were all looking away I ate the licorish when I was finished I ran away without being caught. I feel like they let me out on purpose. I ran for a while then I just felt sleepy and went inside the nearest building and napped a little. I thought about what I could do in my nap. I fell asleep and woke up to the sound of footsteps.

 The first one had a backwards cap and a tattoo under his eye.
He was also skinny like me. It seemed scary. He had a bandanna
around his mouth, this huge hoodie and one humongous sword in
a sleeve going down his back. Finally was just a normal looking kid
with a backpack and an orange shirt. As I stood up they introduced
themselves as the normal kid's name was Tai and the scary one called
himself x-ray and the last one's name was stick. “I’m Alan'' I said.
It was an awkward silence and all of a sudden x-ray screeched
“get down” and tackled me to the floor. X-ray looked up, I did too. 

We all saw an army of things? Walking around the streets. 
They seemed to be looking for something…
I think that something was us?!??!?!

 I walked inside a store and grabbed as much food as possible,
the ching sound was still going. After about 10 minutes I realized
that I only had two things one for each hand. I had to find a storage…
a bag I thought. I rampaged and went crazy for a bag and soon I
found one. Ching! I grinned. This felt like stranger things. I decided
that I’d better sleep. I flew behind the counter, looked around before
I slept. 

When I woke up I was surrounded by these random people.

disapering world 1

Piece by piece, the street was disappearing. Land was taken and all land was at its brink. Everything faded into black mist and drifted off. Shaking I glared at the fade realizing that I was next. I wondered where I would go. The door that I came from was too far now. My whole life passed through my thoughts. As soon as snapped out of it I realized that I’d rather fade trying than just disappear. I gaped it at the door and swung It open.

 I looked at the place and said “that's one I couldn't save” and left. When I was home the place was glitching like life was a game and there was no wifi. I noticed that whenever I pick something up it would make a chi ching sound. Wherever I look there are 3 hearts like how much lives you have left. Running, I went outside. It seemed empty. As I walked I felt the hairs at the back of my neck stood up, I knew I wasn't alone.

They came to our school and told us about the sea. the most interesting thing to me that they said was that green liped mussels can filter water. Turns out that one small mussel can actually filter 350 liters of water a day.

howic historical village

Hello bloggers, Alan here. Yesterday kauri team went to the Howick Historical Village. The bus left at 9:00 ish, and the bus drive took like 30-35 minutes. When we got to the Village. There was a lady at the door. Not gonna lie It felt kinda haunted and stuff. There were three people standing inside the Village. I was creeped when I saw a wired Lady standing in the 2 story building, they didn't move an inch, and there was a metal bowling ball with a chain attached to it that led under the building. The people told us to lock our bags up. I was suspicious. eventually I was able to get to the first activity which was the old school. the teacher had a cane and a tiny desk to work on the boards that we had were all made from stone. She said that boy's aren't aloud to where hats  and girls were. After the school we went to this place that were a bunch of games from the old days. There was a game called skittles, log walkers, bowling, bean bags and more. Next we had this code thing bwhere you run around the place and solve a thing using brail, morse code and more. My fav thing to do was to walk around the place with a teacher. I enjoyed this trip overall

Sorry I don't know how to spell teleconesis if any viewers can spell teleconesis please comment If you don't know what this is It means that you can move things with your mind like the force from starwars. you could be untouchable you could save the world by moving the sun away from earth to stop climate change then NZ wont be a under water Islan.
